End-of-Life Doula Services
-
The International End-of-Life Doula Alliance defines an end-of-life doula as a nonmedical companion who provides personalized and compassionate support to individuals, families, and their circles of care as they encounter and navigate death, loss, and mortality. An end-of-life doula advocates self-determination and imparts psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and practical care to empower dignity throughout the dying process.

Free Consultation
Finding the right fit for your journey is so important. I offer a free 60-90 minute consultation so we can talk through your needs, answer questions, and see if I’m the right doula for you and your family.
Legacy Project Support
Legacy projects can take many forms and are inspired by the dying person’s own life and interests. They might include creating a collage or scrapbook, curating a playlist, gathering favorite recipes, writing down values and life lessons to share with others, or planning parts—or all—of one’s own funeral.
End of Life Planning Support
Education and guidance on caring for the body after death and choices around burial, cremation, embalming, eco-friendly and natural disposition options.
Support locating and selecting a funeral home.
Companionship & Vigil
Gentle presence for the dying person.
This might include silent companionship, life review & memory keeping, story sharing, gentle touch, creating a comforting & sacred space.
Caregiver Respite Visits
Gentle companionship and support in your absence, ensuring the person you're caretaking is not alone while you take time to rest, tend to personal needs, or simply take a breath.
Support with practical tasks such as errand running, organization, appointment scheduling and transportation are also available.
*Note - Medication administration is not in the scope of practice for end-of-life doulas.
Family Led After-Death Care Guidance
Family-led after-death care can range from just a few extra minutes or hours offering reverent care prior to the funeral home arriving, to a several day vigil.
Support in planning after-death care at home.
